How it works

Tecom Challenger is an integrated and flexible access control and intrusion detection solution. The configuration enables quick user rights changes such as assigning a private workspace to a co-worker for the time it is required. Interactions between access and security are user friendly and are typically avoiding user errors.

A shared printer can be fitted with an access control reader or might have a factory built-in reader. A compatible reader will identify the co-worker in front of the printer when he swipes his card. The print job linked to that user will then start allowing the user to retrieve his confidential document.

The solutions we offer

Aritech offers an easy to configure access control system allowing co-workers to have access to the building, to the appropriate floor or to the elevator when required. When an employee makes a room reservation to work privately, access can be granted for that period. Printing confidential documents on a shared printer can be done worry-free. For any co-worker’s comfort, a requested print job will only start when the co-worker is in front of the printer.
